Today as the sun rises, a new day is born

Its time to be an inspiration

Its time to make the transition

Its time to learn to stand on your own

Step by step,  grasping onto the last ray of hope,

You choose to move forward

Hitting rock-bottom, dare yourself to fight

Keeping your thoughts positive

Remembering the happy times

Counting your blessings

Step by step,  praying with all your might,

You choose to move forward

Focussing on your goals,

Manifesting your dreams

Knowing you will achieve them

Wearing your sweetest smile

Step by step,  pushing yourself to win, 

You choose to move forward

Reminding yourself who you are

Making your own choices

Unlocking your full potential

Gradually with a firm resolve

Step by step,  savouring what comes ahead,

You choose to move forward

Asking if you have tried hard enough

Remembering only what enlightens your spirit

Grabbing all the strength within

Slowly and steadily

Step by step,  leaving behind the storm,

You choose to move forward

Hardships are short seasoned,

Victory outshines failure

So believe in your power

Zero in on your destination
